Using outside sources, research, review, familiarize yourself, and understand one of the suggested topics from the list below as it relates to project procurement management. Then write a minimum 5-9 page report on the topic. This is a list of suggested topics, but you may choose your own with approval of the instructor:
US Government procurement compared to commercial procurements
Unique aspects of IT procurements
Analysis of key project procurement issues with the {NAME A MEGAPROJECT} (e.g., The Big Dig, Seattle’s Downtown Tunnel, etc.)
Analyzing and resolving project procurement seller claims
Identifying and avoiding ethical challenges in project procurement management
Note: Due to their past use in in this class, use of either the Springfield Interchange or Chunnel projects or Tacoma Narrows Bridge is not permitted.
